Capabilities

Sustainability in operations

Carbon Ledger

Double-entry accounting of CO2e per order, shipment, SKU, warehouse, route and customer.

Eco-routing

Route optimization that balances cost + CO2e, not just cost or time.

CBAM-ready

Data ready for the European Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism.

Offset Automation

Automatic offset via carbonCredits — rules by customer, channel or SKU.

AI-Pack

Intelligent packaging selection that reduces volume, freight and CO2e simultaneously.

Reverse Chain Economics

Returnable asset management with KPIs for return rate, loss and useful life.

Waste & Packaging Intelligence

Analytics on discarded, recyclable and reused packaging.

ESG is not a report — it's execution

Carbon Ledger as CO2e accounting

Most platforms treat CO2e as an annual report calculated via spreadsheet. In NexLog OS, CO2e is an accounting unit: each physical movement (`movements`), each shipment (`shipments`), each order (`orders`) generates an entry (`carbonEntries`) — emission or offset — with double-entry and audit trail. Credits (`carbonCredits`) back compensations and live in the same ledger. This enables on-demand reports, CBAM-ready, with SKU-level depth.

Eco-routing, AI-Pack and circular economy

Eco-routing factors cost + CO2e + SLA into routing, enabling modal shift whenever economically viable. AI-Pack selects packaging that minimizes volume and freight — and consequently, emissions. Reverse Chain Economics manages Returnable Assets (`returnableAssets`) — pallets, racks, containers, packaging — with useful life, return costs and loss, enabling real circular economy in daily operations.

Digital Product Passport

DPP is the digital passport of the product: data on origin, composition, custody chain and environmental footprint accessible via QR code. NexLog OS implements DPP via GS1, GTIN, SSCC and GS1 Digital Link — and integrates it into MDM (Product Master). This prepares operations for European regulation (ESPR), institutional ESG reporting and final consumer transparency demands.
