What YMS delivers

Dwell time

Average time vehicle stays in the yard between check-in and check-out. Target: -30% in 90 days.

Turn time

Time between call-to-dock and vehicle release. Primary driver of dock productivity.

YMS as the missing link between WMS and TMS

The yard is more expensive than it seems

Every minute a vehicle waits in the yard represents demurrage, daily rental costs, contractual penalties and OTIF degradation. NexLog OS YMS acts on this link — Dock Schedule (`dockSchedules`) and Yard Vehicle (`yardVehicles`) share the same MDM as WMS (waves) and TMS (routing), making scheduling an informed decision based on actual capacity, not spreadsheet.

Self-service gatehouse

The gatehouse kiosk transforms check-in into a self-service experience: driver provides CPF/CNH, registers CT-e/NF-e, takes a photo and accepts LGPD agreement — in less than 2 minutes. Call-to-dock notifies the driver when the dock is available; he is automatically directed. Dwell time drops, turn time drops, compliance rises.

Playbooks, exceptions and integration with Control Tower

Unexpected occupancy, window delay, incomplete documents, vehicles without scheduling — all exceptions are handled by configurable playbooks that try to resolve without human intervention. What escapes goes straight to Control Tower's exception engine, traceable with the same `correlationId` as the corresponding shipment and order. This is what transforms YMS into a first-class module of the supply chain operating system.
